She is a part of independent wrestling circuits across the world, for Women Superstars Uncensored as well as Shimmer Women Athletes. Kay also joined Shine Wrestling 2012 after joining the promotion. On the first Shine Wrestling show, she was part of the team created by Taylor Made. The pair beat Tracy Taylor and Su Yung.April Hunter was added later to the alliance, with the three of them titled Made in Sin. Made in Sin beat Taylor, Yung and Tim in a six woman tag-team match on Shine 7. Valkyrie is the name that was adopted for the stable, which was named for Rain and Ivelisse. Valkyrie defeated Amazing Kong along with Christina Von Eerie, Christina Von Eerie, Yim and Angelina Love in a tag match. Kay got a spot as a qualifier to Shine Championship Tournament. Shine Championship Tournament at the Shine 10 Internet Pay-Per-View in May 2013. Lexie Fyfe ejected Kay after she interfered in the main event between Angelina Love (an ally) and Rain. Kay was back at Shine 13, when she was paired with Ivelisse to beat Amazing Kong and Jessicka havok.
